Geological Belgica Luxemburga Scientia & Professionis

Geological Belgica Luxemburga Scientia & Professionis is a Belgian, bilingual, non-profit organization established in Brussels, with the goal to contribute to the development of Earth Sciences and to create a environmental favorable for the communication of scientific knowledge and research. All universities and institutions active in the field of geology are represented in the board of Geological Belgica Luxemburga Scientia & Professionis. Its « sister » association « Société Géologique de Belgique » located in Liège is a privileged partner for the organization of scientific activities.

What we are doing

OUR ACTIVITIES

Geological Belgica Luxemburga Scientia & Professionis organizes geological meetings, workshops, field trips and award ceremonies. The organization also possesses a library and publishes a scientific journal, written in collaboration with the Belgian Ministry of Economic Affaires, as well as an information bulletin called Miscellanea Geologica, which is sent to its members 9 times a year.
